He ahí la razón por la que no he actualizado últimamente. Muchos ya lo sabéis, pues es complicado engañar a familia y amigos, así que esta entrada es más que nada para disculparme ante aquellos que lo desconocíais. En febrero estaremos nuevamente en Maastricht, casi seguro que del tirón hasta final de curso, allá por junio, así que mientras tanto nos dedicamos a llenar el buche e imitar a mi gato.
This post is mainly to let you know that we’re now in Spain until February. I’m sorry for the delay but these days we’re really busy with family matters and visiting friends. Meanwhile, we’re eating lots of good and “heavy” food here and imitating my cat.
Perdonad que no diera señales de vida, entre despedirnos de un montón de gente y que teníamos bastantes trabajos que hacer para la Universidad, no os hemos contada nada últimamente. Para compensar, aquí os dejo un cotilleo: el coste semanal de vivir aquí durante este primer semestre. Os ahorro tener que sumar: 320€ en 18 semanas.

Fue al poco de llegar, organizaron una fiesta para los estudiantes internacionales en la que había barra libre (no es broma) y además podías cenar gratis. Creo que tardamos casi 3 horas en conseguir nuestra ración y porque un amigo de Hong Kong (“Bill” se hace llamar)hizo cola por nosotros…

It happened soon after our arrival, the Faculty planned a welcome party for the incoming international students. There was a free bar (or open bar in the U.S., right?) and also the possibility of have dinner for free. I think that we spent about 3 hours in get the food and thankfully to one of our friends from Hong Kong (“Bill” is his western name) who queued for us…
